CATCHING THE BUS
Students should be at their stop 10 minutes before the scheduled bus arrival time.
Students go to the College bus stop after the final bell and line up for their bus.
Times may vary due to traffic conditions and routes are subject to occasional changes which will be passed on to parents.
NON-GOVERNMENT SCHOOL TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE SCHEME
To be eligible for travel assistance, students must live in Queensland and attend an accredited Queensland non-state school full time.
If a parent pays more than a nominated weekly threshold in bus fares, to transport their children to non-state schools they may be eligible for travel assistance through the School Transport Assistance Scheme. For applicants who hold a Health Care Card, Pensioner’s Concession Card and Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, the weekly threshold is set at a lower rate. Total fares for all eligible students in an applicant’s family are compared to the threshold to calculate the level of assistance. It is not a “per student” threshold.
Parents should lodge applications for assistance directly online, and for more information on the nominated weekly threshold check out the QCEC website.
