St Augustine's College

An education in the marist tradition

Marist Life

At the heart of Marist life is the desire to walk in the footsteps of St Marcellin Champagnat who founded the Marist Brothers at the end of the 19th century.

He dedicated his order to Mary, the mother of Jesus, and asked his Brothers to follow her example of discipleship. Their mission is to educate young people, and walking alongside them are thousands of lay Marists who help to bring to fruition St Marcellin’s transformational vision of creating good Christians and good citizens, especially among the most marginalised. Here at St Augustine’s College the Marist values are at the essence of our everyday.
