Our Staff

At the heart of St Augustine’s College is its staff. They are part of a confident, creative and generous family who love their school. These men and women have been appointed following a competitive and rigorous selection process and are experts in their fields.

We have highly skilled and enthusiastic teachers who are committed to bringing out the best in their students. They made a conscious decision to teach in an all-boys Marist school, illustrating their desire to relate to and support young men. Our teachers are experts in boys education. They know our students' needs, building a sense of belonging and tailored experiences to support them. The positive relationships our staff have with the students is a cornerstone of our success.

Alongside teachers, ancillary and boarding staff take pride in their roles and do everything possible to ensure the wellbeing and development of the young people in their care. Our co-educational boarding residences add another dimension to life here, and their welcoming, professional staff help make Saints a home away from home for our boarders.

The most impressive quality of our staff is the way they embrace the Marist charism and consciously seek to communicate and live our values. Many visitors comment that there is a palpable Marist feel to St Augustine’s College, an encompassing Marian presence that is shaped by the staff’s love of work and family spirit.
