Tolle's Dining Room
Feeding constantly famished teenage boys can be a challenge, a challenge that our team relishes and meets with aplomb.
The dedicated kitchen brigade provides over 900 nutritious and varied healthy choice meals for boarders, day students, and staff daily in Tolle’s. And there’s always enough for seconds. Hot meals, a wide variety of salads, fresh fruit, desserts and special dietary meals are available. During recess, lunchtime and dinner Tolle’s is a hive of activity with staff and students queueing for the daily specials and chatting around tables in the dining hall or out on the deck overlooking the courtyard and outdoor oversized chess set.
Our co-educational boarding house is catered on site for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, with packed lunches for our female boarders attending St Monica’s College. Our catering remains in-house, a sign of the family spirit so important in Marist life.
Tolle’s is housed in part of what was the early Brothers' monastery built in 1929, a beautiful building that holds over 90 years of history. Now modern and uniquely designed to seat 230 guests with a fully equipped commercial kitchen, Tolle’s operates 7 days a week.
