Boarding Residences

Home away from home with your friends

Boys in Years 7 to 9 occupy Burke Residence. The residence has Wi-Fi and air-conditioning, recreational and TV areas and a kitchenette. Each boy has his own space containing a bed, desk and wardrobe and a shelf to display photos and keepsakes from home.

The head of residence is responsible for boarders' wellbeing and supports and liaises closely with parents or carers, teachers and Health & Wellbeing Centre staff. He is helped by supervisors, which gives students access to a variety of adults to support them. The head of residence is the first point of contact for boarders’ parents or carers.

Boys in Years 10 to 12 live in the Lower Ambrose and Francois residences and enjoy having their own rooms. Each room contains a bed, desk and wardrobe and a place to display photos, trophies and keepsakes from home. Each residence has Wi-Fi, is fully air-conditioned and has a kitchenette, TV and recreational areas.

The head of residence, like his counterparts, works tirelessly to create a family spirit, so that students feel welcomed and valued. He liaises closely with teachers, Health & Wellbeing Centre staff, and parents and carers, and is their first point of contact. Supervisors work as a team with the head of residence to support those in senior boys boarding.

Girls in Years 7 to 9 live in the Upper Ambrose Residence, and those in Years 10 to 12 view Chavoin as their home away from home. These are comfortable and welcoming places, with each girl having her own bed, desk and wardrobe and a shelf to display photos, trophies and mementos from home.

The residences have Wi-Fi and are fully air-conditioned with kitchenettes, TV and recreational areas. Our two heads of residence are warm and caring, helping to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They liaise closely with teachers, Health & Wellbeing Centre staff, parents and carers, and are their first point of contact. They are helped by supervisors, which gives the girls access to a variety of adults to support them.
